Concepts
We use the present continuous to talk about:
Actions at the moment of speaking.
Actions in progress.
Trends.
Future arrangements
Temporary actions.
Structure
We always need the auxiliary "be" (am, is are) and a verb + ing.
If we want to talk about the future, or about something temporary, we need a time expression (later today, tonight, for the moment, etc.).
You can check all the information in detail and practice with the following presentation.
